Feasibility, detailed and final design
The project stems from the need to divide the existing building into two separate apartments, satisfying the latest requirements for better energy efficiency, new functional distribution and modernization of the architecture. The extension differs from the existing part of the building thanks to the finish of the external walls: the light colored plaster is alternated with a gray-anthracite plaster with vertical joints obtained in the coat. Also in the existing portion the thickness of the external insulation layer has been increased, to guarantee a further improvement of the thermal performances. Internally, the premises have been expanded and made brighter by increasing the glass surfaces.
