Brochure

AIACE has included in its corporate name Ecocompatible Architecture and Engineering since 2002, when the prefix eco had not yet transformed the way of designing. The vocation for innovation, technique and process, together with the experience gained, characterize advanced and ahead of their time performances.

Mission

AIACE has been able to evolve over time, transforming itself from an architectural laboratory to a complex and complete structure, able to manage projects and orders at different scales, from concept to implementation, achieving to coordinate the design and management of complex objects and elements, that require a specific expertise and knowledge.

AIACE integrates engineering and architectural professionals, bringing together specialized skills in a single organisational structure. Dynamism and continuous updating allow to collect and constantly face the challenges launched by the construction sector in compliance with the established aims.

AIACE recently introduced in its knowledge design with BIM and parametric modelling tools, especially in façades and steel structure sectors, managing construction design for third parties.

AIACE could be interlocutor responsible for the entire process or consultant, in engineering and architecture.

Marco Bonomi

Building Engineer

Building engineer, skilled in due diligence and activity in the energy sector. He is responsible for energy audits of the building-plant system for energy retrofit and optimization of operating loads in existing buildings, design and integration of systems powered by renewable sources and energy analysis for the construction of buildings with low environmental impact. Carries out construction work as director and inspector for technical checks. PhD in Systems and Processes Building and adjunct professor for the course of Building Engineering/Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan. Author of international scientific and technical publications.

Matteo Brasca

Building Engineer - Architect

Building engineer/architect, he works as a designer and project manager in 'Nearly Zero Energy' projects. He specializes in design of high-efficiency envelopes and façades using dry-assembled building technologies. He works also as a site manager and safety coordinator. He holds institutional assignments and takes part in local organizations at different levels. PhD in Construction Systems and Processes, he studies the field of sustainable innovation. He worked as an adjunct professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan; he currently attends to national and international courses of study. He has written technical and scientific publications.

Oscar Luigi Pagani

Building Engineer

Building engineer and designer of complex structural works (made of steel, reinforced concrete and wood) as well as passive systems for energy saving. He specializes in studying and monitoring solutions for natural ventilation and computational fluid-dynamic analyses. He works as a safety coordinator on the building site and an inspector for technical audits. He is registered as a professional for fireproofing design (Italian law n. 818/84). PhD in Construction Systems and Processes, he studies the field of energy saving and optimization. Adjunct professor for the Laboratory of Technological Design in the 2nd level degree course of Construction Engineering/Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan.

Graduated at Politecnico di Milano, he is specialized in façade design and building envelope, with particular reference to mechanical assembly systems.

Alessandro Bernasconi

2nd level degree at Politecnico di Milano. He deals with constructively design of opaque and transparent complex facades.

Gaia Laura Brasca

Building Engineer - Architect

2nd level degree at the Politecnico di Milano, where she's working as assistant lecturer. She specializes in the field of sustainable refurbishment and parametric modelling.

Ettore Zambelli

“Basically things are much simpler than they initially appear” 1976 E. Zambelli (1940-2010). Architect and full professor, man of culture and tireless professional, he was the founder of the society. AIACE learns from him, as a teacher, the calling towards the innovation throughout the traditions.

Gabriele Masera

Engineer with a PhD in Ergotechnical Construction Engineering, associate professor at the School of Construction Engineering/Architecture at Politecnico di Milano. His field of research is sustainable technological innovation, with focus on integration between building envelope, design strategies and plants.

Matteo Ruta

Engineer with a PhD in Ergotechnical Construction Engineering, associate professor at the School of Construction Engineering/Architecture at Politecnico di Milano. His field of research is product's technological innovation, with focus on operative and energy quality of buildings.
